PURPOSE:
To foster connection and spark conversation among inspiring individuals from across the community.
A Friend
We keep the guest list intentionally small to save room for new connections. We ask that you bring a friend or neighbor who you believe would enjoy and vibe with the purpose of the event.
WHAT TO BRING:
A Meal
We ask that you bring a dish that has personal significance to you to share with the group. No stopping at Publix for a sub unless there’s a story behind it.
A Place Setting
To reduce the environmental footprint of the event, we ask you to bring your own place setting - plates, flatware, glasses, etc. Placemats and napkins will be provided.
DRESS CODE: DENIM
Denim is the fabric of the people.
It’s a great equalizer.
It’s an item of clothing that most people have in their closest.
It’s authentic and accessible, which is how we invite you to show up.
DINNER IN DENIM IS AN INTENTIONAL GATHERING
It is an invitation to connect with no further asks or obligations.
ORGANIZERS:
Kathy Craven

Inspiration:
Dinner in Denim was inspired by “The Art of Gathering” by Priya Parker and the Dîner En Blanc event that originated in Paris in 1988. We riffed on the idea in the hopes of bringing greater intentionality, diversity, and accessibility to the party.
